Medical Physics & Bioengineering
What we do
The Department provides Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering support to all major clinical specialties including: Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiovascular Medicine, Medicine for the Elderly, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, GI Medicine and Radiation Oncology.
A broad range of general scientific and technical services is provided including: Radiation Protection, Equipment/System Safety, Radionuclide Therapy and Equipment Management.
The department has a very strong educational and research bias, with many members of the department holding academic appointments.
