Active research programmes:
My research is on an immune cell called a Natural Killer (NK) cell which protects from cancer, is a key target for new and existing immunotherapy and which can be targeted to restore anti-cancer immune functions in patients.

While we have research ongoing in breast cancer, melanoma and neuroblastoma cancers, our work has more broad importance as NK cells are relevant in all cancer types.  We have a focus on human immunology and translating our findings to improve patient outcomes.
