Active research programmes: 
Dr Gobbo’s research interests lie in the fields of brain cancer, particularly in improving therapeutic delivery. I have a specific interest in the emerging area of theranostics using theranostic nanoparticles. The employment of such theranostic nanoparticles, which combine both therapeutic and diagnostic capabilities in a single agent, promises to propel biomedical research towards personalized medicine.
