Active research programmes: 
Dr Elliott is a Principal Investigator in Surgery at the Trinity St. James’s Cancer Institute, Dublin, Ireland. Her focus is on the delivery of clinical and translational research to improve outcomes for patients with oesophageal and gastric cancer. She is Principal Investigator for the Trinity-sponsored international multicentre SARONG-II clinical trial. Minimally invasive cancer surgery, patient-reported outcome measures, nutrition and survivorship are current areas of interest.
