Active research programmes: 
The research interests of Dr Kelly’s group spans a number of areas that are currently ongoing including cancer therapeutics (EU ITN), male fertility (Enterprise Ireland), therapies in autoimmunity (HRB, SFI) and therapies in monogenetic diseases (HORIZON Europe). In addition, over a decade ago, Dr Kelly established the only transgenic facility on the island of Ireland and we carry out a variety of academic and commercial projects on behalf of researcher nationally. These include cancer models, CRISPR mutagenesis, cryobanking, rederivation, therapeutic administration and downstream analysis (histology, flow cytometry, NGS analysis etc).
