Active research programmes: 
Dr Barry Moran runs the TBSI Flow Cytometry Facility. This is the busiest cytometry core in Ireland, with state-of-the-art instrumentation. Barry is very active in the flow cytometry community and is a committee member of the Royal Microscopical Society (Flow Cytometry section) and a director of the Cytometry Society of Ireland (1 of 2). 

He has a particular interest in elucidating T cell dysfunction in autoimmune skin diseases using high-parameter flow cytometry.
